| Conditions | The agreement provides access to IEEE journals and the possibility to publish on Open access in hybrid journals and Full open access journals, without any APCs (Article processing charges) for the authors, starting from August 2022. |
| Eligible authors | All corresponding authors affiliated and in service at University of Trieste on the date of article acceptance are eligible. Corresponding authors on a fixed-term contract are eligible too: PhD students, postdocs and research assistants, interns in medicine, adjunct professors and so on. Open Access pubblication is possible only after verification of the affiliation of the corresponding author by the Approval Manager of the contract. |
| Eligible journals | It's possible to publish in all IEEE hybrid and full open access journals. |
| Eligible articles | Regular Paper, Review Paper, Brief, Invited, Survey |
| Licenses | CC-BY license is recommended. The author may as well opt for other Creative Commons licenses: CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0. |
| Limits | There are no limits or APC funds, neither at the institution level nor at the aggregate level of the national contract. |
| Green Open Access | Authors affiliated with the University of Trieste can deposit in the ArTS Institutional Repository or on their personal website the Author's Accepted Manuscript (AAM) version of articles not covered by the Agreement and make it freely accessible. |
